Einstein's general relativity is essentially sound. This is why I still call it the theory of general relativity. Many problems are related to a question of logical self-consistency. Therefore, a modification of the theoretical structure is needed. However, for these problems, no experiment is needed although the proposed experiments would enhance the physical understanding. Currently, physical misunderstand is the major mental block for the progress of the theory.
