Huazhong University of Science and Technology, one of the best comprehensive universities in China, invites applications and nominations for the position of Dean of College of Life Science and Technology. Life Science is a leading field that is prioritized for future development and support by the University. The College offers an excellent environment for teaching and research, and is currently seeking an internationally recognized research scholar with a strong background in the field of life science to provide a vision and leadership for the College and to help elevate research and education at the College to a new level.

Applicants should have a Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. and a strong publication record in high impact, international journals. We are searching for a leader who demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities as we all possess an excellent personality, professional dedication, enthusiasm, and a teamwork spirit. The applicant should be healthy and under the age of 50 years, however, an exception will be given to those who demonstrate outstanding achievements. Applicants should be familiar with the environment of higher education in China. Individuals who have demonstrated effective administrative experience and leadership skills at the Chair/Head/Director of a Department, Institute or Research Laboratory will be preferred.
