A tragety happened again in Organic Chemistry from SIOC. This is due to the system and enviorment in China. Everyone wants to have papers published on JACS, OL...no matter what the results are reliable or not.
In this case, the assignment of a natural product is totally wrong for the total synthesis of Chlorofusin.

The correct result just came out from JACS, asap, July 19, 2007 by Dale Boger. Boger claimed that the assignment of Yao's work are wrong.
