1. Come you who are thirsty,
Come to the waters,
and you who have no money,
come, buy and eat,
come buy wine and milk,
without money and without cost,

2. why do you spend money on what is not bread,
and your labor on what does not satisfy.
listen, listen to me and eat what is good,
and your soul will delight in the richest of
fare.

3. give your ear, and come to me,
hear me, that your soul may live,
i will make a everlasting convenent with you,
my faithful love promised to David,

4. i have made him a witness to peoples,
a leader and commander of peoples,

5. surely you will summon the nations that you know no,
the nations that don't know you will hasten to you,
because of the Lord your God,
the holy one of Isreal,
for he has endowed your with splendor.


6. Seek the Lord while he may be found,
call on him while he is near,

7. my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,
declares the Lord,

8. let the wicked forsake their ways,
the evil man their thoughts,
let him turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy
on him,
to our God, he will freely pardon.

9. as the heaven is higher than the earth,
my thoughts is higher than your thoughts
and my ways than your ways.


10. the rain and snow come down from the heaven
and don't return to it
without watering the earth
and making it bug and florish,
so it yields seeds for the sower,
and bread for the eater.

11. so is the word goes out from my mouth,
it will not return empty,
it will accomplish what i desire
and it will achieve the purpose for which i sent it.

12. you will go out with joy,
and be led forth in peace,
the mountains and hills will burst song for you,
and trees of the field will flag.

13. instead of thornbush will grow pine tree,
instead of driers it will grow myrtles,
for this will be the Lord's renown,
for a everlasting sign
it will not be destroyed.
