So you are not a democrat. Sorry, it was my misunderstanding then. With that said, we don't have a lot to talk about. However, I do wish your wishes about multiculturalism and tolerance. And it is true that if Obama would be elected as president, it would symbolize a new era in the States and that would rise America to a higher moral ground although it would not necessary mean Obama is a good candidate or would be a good president. I do believe, however, that you are ahead of the reality. In western culture, especially American culture, promotes individualism, which is just a pretty word for selfishness. By the way, I don't think anything wrong with selfish. I always say if you can't take care of yourself, you can't take care of others. And I think one of the reasons why China is struggling in the past is that Chinese culture doesn't promote selfishness. But that is another story. Anyway, we live in a world that is full of boundaries. Boundaries between nations, boundaries between races, boundaries between parties etc. In this moment of time, the line drawn between races is still pretty clear.
