I really don't agree with your point though I am not anti-Christian. Learning language is a different subject than having a faith. It needs to start as early as possible, before 3 years old. The most Chinese parents at oversea forgot they started learning Chinese when they were only little. If they don't teach their kids to speak to read and to write when kids are young, instead to force them to learn when they are too old. Depending on a Chinese school to teach a language is a misleading, using religion faith can only help slightly, it won't change the degree of difficulties if waited too late to learn.
