to honor all preachers equally and uncritically. the book of Galatians spent its entire length to correct the damage of false teachings; the book of Colossians specifically targeted the influence of gnosticism and judaism; the book of Philippians also questioned the motives of certain preachers albeit Paul was more lenient so long as the basic message of gospel was preached. it's clear, therefore, that rational judgment in listening to such teachings is at least as important as humility in accepting them.
