正如地狱的概念可能来源于以色列那个焚烧的山谷。 那么 所有人一出生就被登记，添加到册子上的名单是变动的。 而被涂抹的名单也会变动。
可见，人人都上生命册是对的，剩下的工作只有是否涂抹了。
叫生命册或许要包括牲畜牛羊等，对于游牧意义重大。
约翰启示录说从创世以来所有地上居住的人，没有被记载的，完全与此像吻合而不抵触。
