Those professors worked hard (may be still working hard) to reach this point. Not that they are crazy. This is a NORMAL lifestyle in science.
I have seen so many talented students (sadly, Chinese included) what are typical 好吃懶做想發財. They want success but don't want to put up the necessary hardwork. You are obvious one of them. Those professors are absolutely correct: A lazy genius won't beat a hardworker with an average talent. Professors are not doing their job if they don't teach work ethic. |
